Just ordered a refurbished Nikon D5100. I think the Nikon will suit my needs more.

Really is a great price....I bought this same camera/lens for $550 direct from Canon, but it was a refurbished model. Looked as new to me so no regrets, but for a new one this is a better deal.
Price went up, it's now $652.48
