If you feel hesitant to buy refurb then pay full price. you can always grab a square trade warranty on it
I'd be hesitant to buy a dslr on the refurb market... it'd be like buying a monitor; wouldn't know what shape the unit would be in.
This is a great DSLR camera, bought it from ebay brand new for $400 after cash back few month ago. I also bought the 50mm F-1.8 portrait lens, and it takes great pictures.
yeah, Nikon is way better than these. Also, Kodak is way better than Nikon. But Canon is better than Kodak any day. Huh.
Refurbished? no, thanks.
AWW i thought it was new!
Nikon for me as well...D5000 looks quite tempting
refurb? no thanks
It's a good deal, but just have some doubt on refurbish one.
yes but will it capture the ghosts in my closet? i need evidence to get my landlord off my case about midnight noises... stupid neighbors... j/k i know ghosts don't exist... now if only i can do something about those gnomes that keep stealing my shoes...
good entry level cam too bad its a refurb....patience can get you a new unit for this same price with a lens
All camera brands suck.
For just a little more you can get it brand new from newegg. $499.

This comes with a 90 day warranty. I bought one from Adorama for about the same price. It came in like-new condition and I've had no problems with it. I would have no problems buying a factory refurb again.
Factory refurbed kits aint too bad. I have a couple of refurbed Nikon lenses and they look and feel brand new.
If I was in the market for a DSLR, I would be all over this.
Dont buy from these guys they will rip you off and hassle you if you need to return it. Read the reviews
