      Very good entry level budget kit. I do not have the 75-300. I have the 55-250 IS instead. The 18-55 is very wide and bright. Good stuff.

      It just seems like older technology. What is the difference between Digic III and Digic IV processor that most canons have now?

      You might want to sell the 75-300 as well. It is pretty shaky without the IS.

      75-300mm with f/4-5.7 is a piece of junk. other than using it for outdoors, long distance shots, you won't have any other application for it.

      Yea, I've heard 300mm can see right through walls indoors. Best used outside.
