This camcorder isn't that great. I get much better movies from my powershot S5 IS.
is that 37x optical zoom or digital zoom?
37x Optical
48x "Advanced" zoom (think that involves digital)
2000x digital zoom
It doesn't handle low lighting well, pretty grainy. The image stabilization isn't that impressive, but it's better than an Aiptek that has none.
Good camcorder for a good price.
What digital cameras/camcorders handle low light well, other than DSLRs or older Fuji ones or the ones with $1000 price tags??
None.
Don't be a baby and stop crying about low light, low light.
By low light, I mean any degree of lighting in the house, which is pretty sad. I just had higher expectations coming from Canon over a $99 no-namer Aiptek.
Do you own this camera, popyu? Probably not. I may be "crying," but I'd take it better from someone whose 400+ posts weren't full of whining and complaints. Practice what you preach.
