      With the prices of HD camcorders coming down, I'd suggest saving up and getting one of those instead. Especially as we as whole are migrating to HD LCD/Plasma TVs.

      With an HD camcorder, you have to have an HD burner or Blue Ray. These are still way off on price and the blue ray r's are still around $10 each.
