      Looks like maybe miniDV - tape? The JerkitCity specs don't show the resolution - I'm assuming 720p?

      Appears to be a pretty nice camera...

      Actually it does 1080i. Also 24p.

      One thing I don't like about mini DV's is they are sooo difficult to convert to "electronic" formats such as mpegs, dvi's etc. Also a few minutes of footages takes up so much memory it's not practical to brun into CD's or even DVD's.

      How come Hollywood can fit a 2 hr movie in a DVD and I can barely put 10 minutes of home footage in a DVD before it runs out of space?
