SWEET! Now if there was only a way that I could render this onto a HD disc so that I could play on an HD player that would not break the bank.

amazing to see the price diff in the last few weeks between HV10 and HV20. What's the biggest case for going with the HV20?

Why do you want an HD disc and player? Just play from you HD capable HTPC.

I have owned this camera since May and love it!! For the money there is nothing that can touch it's features. The 3 main differences between the HV10 and the HV20 is: the HV20 has an HDMI output, records in 24p mode (cine mode 24 frames per second) and it has better in low light then the HV10. This is a great camera!!

#6 I share my videos with my family and friends. I usually mail them DVDs of my compilations, usually trips. Kind of hard to do as you suggest.

and the HV20 has a Mic input. Using the built-in Mic on a camcorder generally sucks (it records motor noise, etc.)...

I wish they'd release an HV30 so the HV20 drops to $500 Smile
