I bought this same deal via Ben about a month ago. The printer arrived and is working like a champ. It's noisier than the one it replaced, but not enough to be a problem. It was easy to set up, prints quickly, and there have been no problems. I am a low volume user, 500 to 2000 pages a month, and this is my second inexpensive Canon printer. The first was purchased 5 years ago and is still working just great (I gave it to my daughter). Recommend.
i have noticed that the newer multifunction laser printers (with duplexing) are a bit louder, but tolerable.
while 500 pages a month might be on the lower usage end, 200 pages a month is on the higher end.
how much are those toner carts and refills? i had read that operating costs are higher for canon lasers.
1500-page cartridge was selling for less than $15 6 mo ago. Should be cheaper than that now.
