condition after the cartridge has been refilled but it will not interfere
with the operation of the printer.
DIY bulk toner refills start at $10 delivered, $14 with a reset chip. DIY toner refilling does require cutting or melting a hole to do so. You can also get a kit with a hole melting tool and a piece of foil tape to cover the hole when finished for $23 but it is not really necessary, a drill bit and piece of regular tape will work too, just be sure to shake out the plastic particles before refilling the first time.
You can also get an entire 3rd party cartridge ready to go for $15 delivered, or a 4 pack for $50, all on ebay.
