This is a good price. Amazon has it for $100, also.

Are these shipped with a full capacity toner?

meh..... although it's a laser printer, the most important part of any printer is wireless capabilities.... why would I want wires all over my house??? I want to be able to print wireless-ly with various pc's in my house.

i've had one of these for over a year now. a paper feeder for the scanner would be nice, but otherwise it's been great! toner lasts a long time and you can get an offbrand cartridge for about 30 bucks.

#4 Although my preference is having a RJ-45 (ethernet) port on the printer and putting it close to my wireless router, it is worth noting that there other ways of connecting all the computers in a house to a printer. You don't really want a printer sitting far away from all of the computers, do you? (Like in the attic or something? Or maybe on the patio outside?)

But seriously, there is a simple way that most people can adequately share a printer for home use.

With this printer, the cheapest and probably easiest option is to hook it up to one of your desktops and share it on the network. (Open the Printers and Faxes dialog from the Start menu, right click on the printer, click sharing, ... there are how-to's all over; one can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/honeycutt_july2.mspx ). The only bad news is that the desktop has to be on for other computers to print. When was the last time you turned it off, anyway?

I feel like an on-board wireless print server on a cheap printer is an awful gimmick, and a waste of money. Just my opinion, I suppose.

#2 Looks like it's a full-yield cartridge. Newegg doesn't say otherwise, neither do the manuals. Finally, the specs at buy.com and in this review http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/news/articles/story_6163.html and the amazon.com link posted above all say it's full-yield.

Shame that it isn't available in other colors as well. I'd prefer gray or even black.

It seems to be a full cartridge but keep in mind that a full cart is only 2K5 pages, meaning cost per page is a little higher with this than some lasers, though possibly more in line with most B&W all-n-ones.
