I bought this on sale a couple months back. Great all in one for the home or small office.

Do your research; understand what you are getting. This one does not have sheet feeder. So you can fax one page at a time (obviously, you can print multiple pages); it is just scanning and faxing one at a time.

My copy came with an empty starter cartridge (very faint prints). Canon support was of little help so I had to buy a new X25 cartridge immediately.

Overall, the printer works and the price is good.

You should have been able to get Canon to replace the starter cartridge, possibly even getting them to mail you a prepaid shipping label for the faulty one.
