Get an OEM battery instead of generic.

#1 - if you strap them to TNT, very good chance.

I'm in for one. I had bought a generic one a while ago -- it was good.

They usually don't have the same capacity as the OEM batteries, but they're like 10% of the price. Buy 2, and you'll be golden.

Now, why do they change the batteries and chargers every sodding camera release?

I got generic battery ( different model of battery)from them before. The original Canon Charger cannot full charge the battery- that means the charger light will keep blinking never stop. You have to buy their charger to get it fully charged. The battery life is short also capacity is kind of low compared to OEM. Not really recommended battery...

The price is very good. I am just worried about the reliability of generic batteries

it should last more than 10 min
it won't explode unless you short circuit it

I bought 2 different medels of generic batteries from other vendor. They don't last at all. One of the medels is for Canon 30D. The genuine one lasts about 400-500 shots. But the generic one lasts about 40-60 shots and it is dead. Can't get it to full charge.
