Even if the cost is $40 to replace the ink, it's still 1/2 the cost (to operate) to a Lexmark, HP, Dell, ect. A big plus is Canon printers use less ink. I use an IP2600 to do photo's. Great results even @ 8x10's. Still have plenty of ink left after months of photo's and text.

    Where?
I just went to the Office Depot site, and it says it's $99.99.
    Is the deal expired?

Canon printers have a light driver footprint on your system.
This is why I don't buy HP inkjet printers anymore. Especially the home models.

This same printer was on sale at Office Depot a couple of months ago for $28. Bought one for my mother. The print quality seems quite good. The print response time is a bit slow. The included software is a little confusing especially for the copy function. It's better to run the operation directly from the printer. Check out eBay for replacement ink and avoid the retail ripoff. After all that's why manufacturers can sell their printers so cheap. They get you hooked on their cartridges.
