yep... buy this take the inks and dump the printer
#1, this printer uses 5 ink cartidges. The cost of these inks are much less than $100. This is not a deal.
Got one a couple of months ago. Great printer, the ink carts seem expensive because the price dropped. I bought mine new for $150 which was a good deal. The ink carts last a long time and ship with the full size cart. You only have to replace the color cart that runs dry, not all five at once.
My Canon MP780 has no chips in the cartridges so the non-OEM ink is dirt cheap. I think Canon has added chips to all of the newer ones since Epson won their lawsuit against aftermarket ink sellers. Bastards....
Then I will never buy another printer for the rest of my life.
