Decent but not fast photo printing, supposedly prints will last 300 years. 2-sided printing. Rear and bottom paper trays. Scanner is merely OK. This is a good Canon all-in-one, but there are better (faster) photo printers if that is your primary use.

Five individual ink cartridges. This is good, as you can change just the one color that runs out, thus saving on ink costs. The text-black cartridge is 2x the size of the photo cartridges, and I still change black more than twice the rate of the other colors.

Includes USB, wired 10/100, and wireless 802.11g interfaces. The wireless is set up using a one time connection to the USB interface. Pretty easy if you have any computer skills at all.

This is not a big discount over the typical discount price of $120-130.
