Good price on an OK camera.
Reviews have always been mixed on these A4xx models.
Does take AA batteries.
No viewfinder.

I like that it takes AA's. Now you can get some NIMH batteries, a good charger and have unlimited power.

Great, simple to operate camera, low for Canon Powershot
Have an older Cannon, similar to this (larger, heavier tho). The use of AA batteries is convenient, easy to keep spare rechargeables ready. But mine loses the date/time every time the batts are removed, and then nags about it. It takes good pics and is easy to use.
Apparently this model is not compatible with the CHDK. Too bad. Id get two if they were.
