great price for this camera. I have this and it has optical stabilization and it works great. My only complaint is the slow shutter. Very bright light allows it to take fast pics but otherwise its slow. I'm not sure what it is, i've switched sd card brands and types and it slow to take pics or slow to save.

It's probably the flash recharging that slows it down. If the flash is on and the camera thinks it needs it, it will wait until the flash charges before firing the shutter. You might try using rechargable Nicad or NiMH batteries. They may be able to charge the flash faster.

Good Price. I paid $150 for it from Newegg and that was about 3 months ago.

The product itself is outstanding. Get a good carrying case for it.
