this is a great camera, my wife loves it, although I agree the price is a little bit high.
I don't know why people should believe that the price should be cheaper? How much cheaper can this get? $150 is pretty cheap IMO. I remember getting an SD450 for $250 and thinking that was "cheap". This camera is far better with a larger LCD and Image Stabilization. It's a terrific buy.
This is a good price, but they can be had for less if you are patient. I picked one up at Christmas-time for about $127.
This was less than $120 shipped last week at Staples after $25 Coupon.
Big fan of this camera. I have gifted this camera several times and own one myself.
New Egg has it for $150 shipped with a case and 4GB SD card. Also no tax for me.
This camera makes people look better in the pictures than they do in real life. Sign of a great camera since this is due to the ability of the camera to adapt to different lighting--hence studio shoots with photographers with $2000 cameras and $1000 lenses making people look great.
Anyway, Canons are by far the best.
How does this compare to the $90 Olympus?
