You might be able to get it for cheaper later, but this is a great deal on a quality P&S - Canons are great.

Good basic camera, except the zoom only goes down to 38mm. A 28mm-30mm wide angle zoom is much better for group shots.

the 103 wasn't legit, it was from buy and they probably had 1 camera in stock at that price. if you call that legit then hey. having said that this camera is sweet, chdk works on it and 8mp for this zoom is more then enough.

i bought this camera- and i am surprisingly impressed by it- in good light, the pictures are crisp and clear- and even in low light using the flash (when it can correctly adjust the focus of the photo) the pictures come out pretty good!

and the video capture is actually really good too!

I would look for a deal on the latest of the 800 series rather than this. The number might be higher, but the 870 or whatever the latest 800 series camera is has the aforementioned wide angle, and a higher megapixel count which leads to nicer group shots and better image quality.

Wow #8, are you saying I'm the only person that got this camera for $103? It was pretty legit to me.

How is the battery life of this camera? Specifically, how many pictures could it take with flash lights from a single charge? And, how many seconds would it take to charge the flash light after a shot with flash? Thanks.

Great camera but this is just the normal sales price.

I've got one, but I don't know the battery life. I think mine took over 250 shots w/ and w/o flash before needing to recharge. The light maybe takes 2-3 seconds to recharge. It's pretty quick. Test one out at the store.
