anyone tried canon recertified before?
I brought in my camera and they couldn't fix it so they gave me a refurbished one as a replacement. It was the newer model than the one I turned in so I kept it and it's served me well for over 3 years. I think you'll be safe as long as the factory warranty is there to allow you to fix or upgrade it if it fails in a short time.
If you ask me, I'm fine with Canon and their products because the company stands behind it 100%. I was actually out of warranty by a couple of months and they took it anyways instead of saying it just expired. That was really cool.
Yes, but only if Canon does the refurb. I've had two refurbs thru their Customer Loyalty program(send in your broken, out of warranty Canon and purchase an upgrade refurb). Both cameras were fine and are still in service.
I have this exact refurb from Canon and it works wonderfully!
just what i wanted to hear! refurb these days seems to be completely different from what it was before. so far i've bought refurb from apple and hp and i wouldn't even be able to differentiate them from new even under a microscope.
Apple refurbs are stellar, but I've certainly had BAD experiences with other brands refurbs. It's good to hear that Canon's are good.
