Is this a good deal?
seems good to me, it was like close to $300 a few weeks ago...
I think the 850 and the 890 have wide angle but not this one...
850 and 890 do not have the wide angle, but they have 4x and 5x optical zoom. Great deal, since its been at $290-300 for the longest... the new version of this one (SD870), won't come out till the end of the summer.
Then I have it backwards the SD800 IS and the SD870 IS have wide angle but not the SD850 and SD890 that have more optical zoom.
I've not seen this cheaper than $297. Best feature is 28mm equivalent at wide end of zoom. Incredibly useful for a point-and-shoot. I predict that the wide angle lens will be standard on most cameras of this type within a year.
Great camera for a great price. Steve's digicams rated this one as "best ultra-compact camera."
Hi guys, I think I found a better deal at The Refurb Depot for $244.95
Prices on the current line of Canon cameras are all taking a dump because the new line of 10MP point-and-shoots (SD770IS, SD790IS, & SD890IS) are gonna be in stores in May.
