Got one, giving my SD630 to my 4 and 6 year-old to play with. Next target: Canon VIXIA HF-100

If only I didn't buy the SD1100... I bought it a little over a month ago because it was $70 cheaper than the 880. The 880 is a better camera!

the 3' screen alone justify the higher price than SD1100

Buy it elsewhere (check NexTag or PriceGrabber for better prices). DELL is a fág-friendly company which supports & promotes sex perverts (scored 100% on their "Human Rights Campaign" 2006 "Corporate Equality Index"). So don't touch what they carry, now that you know who's hands have been on it.

$50 code seems to be already redeemed so it might be a 1-time or limited-time redemption code. too bad, too, a bunch of my friends are all looking for this exact camera!

#9: Hope this doesn't blow your mind ...

"Excerpt from 'The Principles of Newspeak' - Newspeak was the official language of Oceania, and had been devised to meet the ideological needs of Ingsoc, or English Sobaconm. ... The purpose of Newspeak was not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the devotees of IngSoc, but to make all other modes of thought impossible." -http://artcontext.org/remote/newspeak.html

"The slogans of Newspeak are 'War is Peace', 'Freedom is Slavery', and 'Ignorance is Strength'." -http://www.online-literature.com/orwell/1984/2/

Scoring 100% in their so-called "human rights equality index" (with their arbitrary inclusion of such things as the support of sex depravity) is NOT a good thing.
