I have always loved my Canon cameras. I'm only my second one finally after 4 solid years of service from my first one. They take good pictures (even with a really shaky hand). Low light pictures don't tend to come out great but that is the case with the majority of cameras
Low light pictures tend to stink on any compact digital camera, the lenses and optics are tiny and don't let in much light. Try using an SLR with a nice fat lens; you can shoot low-light with no flash.
Thank you very much for that, thankfully I don't do much picture taking in low light situations but it's nice to know how to remedy the situation
or use a Fuji F10/20/30/31- these are considered the BEST compact digital cameras (even today!) even though they are hard to find (got mine on eBay).
