This camera's auto shot feature is one of the better ones I've seen. It's a great point-and-shoot camera.

This camera starts at a 37mm equivalent. I would stay clear of it since this is basically already zoomed in slightly, and you'll find you can't take very good group shots, interior shots, or shots of anything large that is too close. Some of Canon's other Elph cameras start at 28mm allowing a nice wide angle shot.

The trick here is a 5X optical zoom in a slim camera. That's what you're paying for.
