I'm torn between this and the SX200... this is $100 cheaper, but the 200 is 12mp, 12x and uses Li-ion batteries. Decisions, decisions.
#2 if you have other devices that use AAs buy a good charger and some eneloops to share between them.
10mp and 12mp is not worth the decision unless you are going to print posters.
Yeah, I couldn't care less about 12MP (my pics are usually taken at 4MP), and if I had 10x, I wouldn't bitch about 12x, but really, it would've been nice if they could stick an NB-5L in there and made the camera body thinner than this.
Recently got this camera at Sams Club for $179. It is a good camera and takes good pictures. The zoom is nice and works well. The downside to this camera though is that it does chew through some batteries. A charger is a necessary evil as #3 stated.
