We paid over $350 for this at Costco w/ a cheapo 2gb SD card. Expensive, but still well worth it. If you can pick it up for $279 that's awesome. It has an awesome lens, can soom very very far, manual mode rocks, and the supermacro lens can focus on things literally touching the lens. I like. Cheers.

Great reviews at Amazon and Steves-digicams too. This is 20 bucks less than Amazon. Man, I wish I had the dollars for this.

It can go full manual? Sweet. Love the retro look. Ima get one when they fall below $250. It's either this or another SD or one of the Panasonic /Leica Lumix models.

Looks like an old camera but it has a nice 12x zoom

Dont forget it has HD video recording. It looks really nice. You do need a fast memory card for video recording.
