    So, if we're studious little bargain shoppers then we've all already seen all of the Black Friday ads posted online. I haven't seen a better price for a 1 TB drive anywhere. If it's not a POS then it's a good deal. Anybody have an opinion on whether or not this is a good drive?

    and by the way i bought the model one baby step above this a month and half ago. Other than the short cord and bright light it has been really good.

    It only has a 1 (one) year warranty. That should be an indicator of how "good" the drive inside is. What good is the warranty anyway, if the company goes out of business.

    I bought one of these over a year ago. 750 GB it is my most dependable drive, better than my seagate.
