    I have one and it works decently. But the two 750GB Barracudas still get too hot.

    Spanning drives into a JBOD or BIG with REMOVABLE drives? Wow, you guys are more daring than I.

    I used these for doing temporary transfers of data. Period. I live my data too much to not use a decent enclosure for long term setups.

    I have 2 of these and use them all the time for transferring data. I glued the switch with hot glue so I would not accidently move them. JBOD only for me.

    If you use JBOD (and NOT spanning), does each disk appear separately to a Windows OS?

    Anyone use this with a WD-HD-TV? Does each disk show up on that too?
