Newegg has the Centon 2GB MP3 Player for $15 with free shipping. It plugs directly into a USB port for easy file transfer. You can use it as a USB flash drive as well.

Does this remember where you were when shut off so you can resume at the last point?

#3 - My first MP3 player was some no-name player that looked identical to this. As I recall it did not have the resume function. I still have an old 1G Creative player thats about the same size that I use strictly for audio books as it has the resume function.

It may be just $15, but it stopped working after 1hr... not worth the hassle of returning it, so I'm stuck with it.
