I bought a Chapin one gallon tank from Lowes for $14. a few days ago. Used it yesterday until the trigger began slipping. It got to the point that just trying to squeeze the lever made it pop off. I had to wrap it with a twist tie to finish the job. It is going back the next time I go to Lowes.
Chapin seems to have many models, perhaps identical units with different names for different retailers. If the lever is plastic and ends in a fork that lifts a mushroom shaped thingy, expect it to start to spread and pop off with use.
