overall, it is an awesome grill... it serves us well over the past memorial weekend.

the only thing you need to be aware that the external stainless finish could become ruin if wrong cleaning product is used on it. I used an oven cleaner product on it, and stainless finish disappeared and became a dull brown finish.

This thing is heavy as hell. The firebox/hood weighs at least 100 lbs by itself.

They only use 304 stainless on the high end ones (over $1000) this year since stainless steel prices have gone through the roof. The cheap stuff is magnetic, will rust, and will look crappy in no time. Stainless on sub $1000 is more of a marketing gimmick than anything. You might as well get a painted one, it will probably last as long and look better over it's life. I just bought a Charbroil from last years run and it's 304 all the way.. No infrared for the rotisserie either.. At this price matters though..

And your hot dogs will taste like baconnaise on the less than a thousand dollar grill.

The salesman of the burp rodeo cowboy in post #6 told me so.

Good looking and excellent grill. It took 2 guys to put it together though, heavy grill. Dunno what #6 is smoking, but it's been a year and our grill took a lot of abuse, but still looks good and runs well.

#6, don't be a dumbass. I live less than 2 miles from the beach and have kept my grill outside for well over a year. I am on my third propane tank, and use the grill probably 4-5 times a month. I have yet to see a spot of rust, and the steel is in fact stainless. This is the best grill for the price, my only complaint is that the knobs on the front are plastic, not metal.

Sucks for #1, but try Fantastic or 409 next time...both seem to clean the exterior of my grill without any problems.

True #5/#9, this grill is heavy as baconnaise. I moved the box in and out of my car by myself, and also built it myself, but it's definitely easier with someone else around.

just got a similar version at home depot for 250 and it came with 2 free tanks of propane and a 20 dollar gift card. I also bought a cover for it. It's the best bang for the buck, sure it's made in china but one of my friends thought it costs over 2000 but was in shock after I told him it was more around 200.
