you have to buy the smoker box. also trying to smoke ribs, chicken etc with a charcole smoker is like having your teeth pulled....not a bad price for a charcole grill but if you want to smoke get an electric smoker you can set it and come back and check it and not hover over it to keep the temps and smoke up all day....been there done that and never again! electric is the way to go for smoking
