Try doing a little research on your own before posting lazy questions. Eco Drives are powered by light. Never need winding or battery replacement. I have one for several years, now and it keeps perfect time.
It's a military-styled chrono...all about whether you love this particular watch, because you can certainly find very nice Eco's for less, including with an even more pronounced military knockoff style.
Yeah Eco-Drive is a very nice option, I love mine as I never have to worry about batteries or winding. However, this deal has been posted multiple times at the same price. I'm not sure how much of a deal it is if you can always get it for that price.
Do people still wear watches? I fail to see the need when you can look at the time on your cell-phone. This looks nice but I find a watch to be an un-needed accessory these days.
I've had a Citizen Eco-Drive watch for a few years now and love it. Mine has a charge meter at the top. Only saw it dip below full once, when I thought I had lost the watch, but it was behind my dresser for a couple of weeks. Even stays sufficiently charged in the winter when I'm wearing long sleeves all the time.
Only issue I had was was with the face. The US version has a mineral crystal which scratches very easily. I sent mine back to Citizen when it got really bad and had them replace it with a sapphire crystal. They charged $100, but it looks great and there have been no signs of scratches after several months.
#8 - Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather tilt my wrist and see the time rather than fish around in my pocket for my cell phone, especially when I'm in a meeting. Subtally glancing at your much is much easier than subtally pulling your cell out of your pocket.
#8 For some ppl the word Style comes to mind, I'm NOT saying u dont have it, just that its different. Ppl i know have more than 1 watch. Just think, How are you going to keep that phone while a prioner in a pow camp and give it to your friends son. (pulp fiction take off), no service, dead battery.
The watch will keep ticking every time you take a step.
Yup, it's faster to check your watch than your phone. Of course people text message each other when it'd be faster to just call someone now too. Cell phones are moving us backwards.
For those of us with actual jobs, pulling out a phone in a meeting or presentation can be very unprofessional (people always assume you are texting) but checking a nice watch is definitely not.
If you live near a time-zone border, you can't depend on a cellphone because it jumps between cell towers. A watch, provided it's not a wave-ceptor type, won't have that problem.
Yeah yeah, cell phones. A watch is both more directly useful for getting the time and generally, an attractive piece of jewelry that demonstrates a bit of personal style. If you can't understand the value of that, both practical and aesthetic, well, I pity the fool.
#17 is spot on. A friend of mine is a Maitre D' at a well known London restaurant and always 'sums up' a customer by the style/make of watch he is wearing. Wear a Micky Mouse watch and don't work for Disney? You sit by the waiters entrance.
This looks like a nice Citizen airplane instrument panel. What is Eco-drive... I like the Tag-Heuer mo' betta.

I wish it would come in metal strap.
It does come in a metal strap.
