Walgreens has the Clean AirBall CAB011 Portable HEPA Air Purifier - White (also Blue and Pink) on sale for $25 with free shipping. Normally around $50. Features HEPA filtration which removes 99.97% of particles at .3 microns and a noise level rating of 32dba.
Perhaps, but where were you going to get a highly effective HEPA air cleaner for $25, unless they're using the inkjet printer pricing model where they give away the cleaner but want your first-born for replacement filters?
They don't provide the actual real-world measure of purification, CADR. Presumably it is minuscule.

Anyway, this thing is only 8 x 8 x 7 inches, 30 CFM, can run off USB power. Obviously it is downsized for areas where you don't have enough space for anything larger. 3 pack of filters are $24 on their site, http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/clean-airball-replacement-filter-kit---set-of-3/ID=prod6060575-product
My wife got suckered into purchasing this type of "purifier" before. Don't waste your money as they are useless.
