Ends today. SuperBiiz has the Coby KYROS MID7015 7" Touch Screen Android 2.1 Tablet PC for $155 - $10 off with coupon code CHERRYTREE10 [Exp 2/21] = $145 with free shipping. Features Google Android OS 2.1, a 7" 800x480 touchscreen, USB, 3600mAh battery, 4GB internal memory, SD card slot, and wi-fi.
There's a 2.2 ROM available but they're still working out the bugs. Still, it's active. As it stands, it's not the greatest tablet but is pretty much usable. I'm happy with mine and feel it was worth the price. Despite the Coby name brand, it's actually pretty solid.
If you got the bux, for $100 more the nook color has a much more responsive capacitive screen and is said to be running Honeycomb pretty stable.
Yes, there is a 2.2 ROM that is being actively developed. There are still bugs but it does work. It can also be rooted and have all goog apps installed as well as clockwork mod for backup and recovery.
How many Linux tablet haxxors are out there, really? I doubt there are as many as there are tablets coming out right now. It's too risky to guess at what device is going to get enough manpower for a reliable release, before the manufacturer switches out the chipset for one $0.007 cheaper.
