I have used MID tablets before and am using iPad now, used a Lenovo android tablet in between. MID tablets are low end and you can't expect the functionality or a galaxy or iPad. But then, they are not $500 machines. If all you want to do is web browsing, email, facebook, and light games like bejeweled or solitaire, a mid tablet is fine. You obviously aren't going to do graphic design or high ram gaming on it, but hey, a lot of people simply need a basic tab for surfing the web. I ordered this for my mom, if I get it before the sale expires I'll comment again with a short heads up on how it is.
i had a mid-7015 and just sold it on it was basically the same specs as this one. but came originally with android 2.2 two point two (bens editing post for no good reason). i know it did not have access to android market app unless you rooted it. also the app store it did come with got axed and then switched to getjar. so be prepared to finagle with this thing.
i never liked the touch screen on mine either. always opening apps when trying to scroll.
i would however not buy another one of these old models. the build quality was fine but you can find good tablets used for not much more and be much happier with them. just my opinion.

True, but there are also reviews saying "Almost Perfect" & "Great tablet for the money".
