I'm always tempted to go for this offer until I realize that it's probably just not worth the hassle.

Fine for typical coffee drinkers. I bought one for my parents last year, they love it.

    Here's the deal.
I've done this kind of offer several times over the years. Their coffee makers seem to need use a little more coffee per cup than others,(for 2-4cups) but not thats big a deal to me.

Their flavored coffees (almaretta & hazelnut) are delicious.
The coffee is very fresh, but as little more expensive.

The coffemake and cups are nice and worth a few months of the service, then cancel. Their cust. service was nice about it, that is why I get this about once or twice a year.

    Hope that helps.

I got the coffee maker last month and it's worth the troubles. I just canceled it and the customer service was nice.

I have jumped on two different offers through gevalia, and my family has done this too. So far we have had no problems with canceling. The last one I did, was for one of their higher quality machines, and its running like a champ.

I got two senseo coffee pod systems through their survey. Gave one to my college age son and kept the other for my office. I think it tastes better than most coffees but then, I don't believe that "Any variation of coffee is for the weak."

any thoughts on the free coffeemaker itself? I mean if I program this thing, is it gonna come on when I set it? Or is huge piece of crap?

Gevalia coffee is good, but a little expensive...but if you need a coffee maker...this is a great way to get one! Like they said, their customer service is great...no hassle to cancel after the first month. Their hazel nut coffee is excellent!!

It's a good deal if you need a free coffee maker and don't mind paying 15 bucks for just decent coffee (for the price), and remember to cancel. I've done it a couple times. last time I did I got the thermal carafe version and a month later I heard the glass liner explode in the middle of the night, it was empty. So I took a picture of a plant in it and got a free Senseo when they had that offer.

The Senseo is a completely different animal and the pods are a bit expensive if you drink a lot of coffee. So I used them up and gave the Senseo away and went out and bought a real coffee maker.
