This is perfect for those who want to catch a fish in their own aquarium tank.

It works fine for smaller fish under 8", but beyond that it doesn't seem to handle it too well. Fun but more for show than real use I guess.

I get the pen part but what are you supposed to do with the reel?

nice gimmick to show friends, but it doesnt work very well at all. My father-in-law gets a kick out of showing everyone, but never uses his to actually fish with.
It feels like you could snap it if you put a 1lb fish on there.

This fishing pole is great! I keep one with me every time I'm ever go on a boat. You never know when you'll be deserted on an island.
