The reason why white isn't good for guys jackets is guys tend to do more of the dirty work, and get dirtier at play too, with white showing dirt the most. It's not a big deal with white t-shirts since you can bleach them cleaner but you can't be constantly washing or bleach a coat or jacket.
White also indicates you're a virgin. That's great for a women but pretty bad for a guy; Especially a guy that looks like a dork...
I wear white because only good guys wear black.

^ I don' t know how Columbia's made in China sizing goes, but most of the stuff I see in stores seems to have shrank one size range from how things used to be sized. IOW it doesn't take all that large a guy to need an XL size, especially with something that looks fairly straight cut like this instead of tapered, to give you enough chest, neck and shoulder room.
Some reviewers said it was true to size and some mentioned what I did above, that the chest to waist ratio is too low.
The China sizing also runs two sizes smaller in the crotch area...
