I have a Columbia Sportswear sweatshirt that is amazingly soft. In for a pair - hopefully they'll do well for biking.

I think it's time for No. 3 to be sent to a re-education camp. Maybe one of the Texans on here can get in touch with the White House and make arrangements.

#4, this is the last thing you'd want for biking. For biking (if you aren't into the clipless shoes which really means clip shoes (WTF were they thinking when they called them clipless??)) you'd want shoes with a flat bottom. If you mean motorcycling then a thick heel. If you mean bicycling then no heel ledge and some cushioning on the ball area but not a lot.

Me thinks #6 knows a little too much about shoes...

#7, have you ever compared biking with and without spiky treads on your shoes? It's possible, but hardly optimal. Save it for when you're planning on hiking part of the way.

Why wouldn't anyone know a lot about shoes? I have had to wear them at least a half dozen times and it's not an experience you soon forget.

#6, thanks for the heads up. I am still new to cycling and don't plan to clip in for a while yet.

    Congrats on 4K posts!
