I tried one and it is very bright (1200 lumen)... much brighter than the 65watt incandescent that it replaced. It's actually too bright. Even though I have them all on a dimmer in the bathroom... the LED overpowers the room. It also leave a strong shadow. It I were to replace the other three incandescent with the LEDs it would probably balance out the hot-spot of the LED. Overall, I was impressed with it for $25... but not at a $50 cost.
