Any good? I could use a couple of quieter fans than the ones in my case now.

They are not very loud for the amount of airflow they produce, and $6 shipped is a great price if you need a fancy fan like this.

The intended LED effects only appear properly from the front (intake) side of the fan, you can see the light from the back but from the back it just makes a sort of circular pattern.

On a speed controller it would be fine at lower noise level, but if you don't really need the LED effects and don't have either motherboard control or a separate speed controller to throttle them back a bit, then a low cost alternative for 2 or more fans which are significantly quieter due to lower stock RPM would be these:

There is a catch with these fans however, unlike many sleeve bearing fans they are permanently sealed so after the bearing starts drying out you can't relube them like you could with many. Well, technically you could melt a hole where the plug would've been and squirt lube in with a syringe, -OR- drill out the solid area, pop the shaft thrust washer off to pull the blade assembly off, rinse out the debris from the hole you drilled with gasoline/etc, put the blades and thrust washer back on, lube it, then seal the hole with a sticker... but, lol, it's not worth the $3.75 per fan to do so.

My momma told me not to refutiate myself or I would go blind.
