CORSAIR Enthusiast TX850M 850W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 PSU for $90 shipped w/ code EMCXWWN43 and $15 rebate
While not the worst for the price… read previous history! While the Eggviews aren’t exalted, there good considering there’s 480 folks. I just think it’s not the best buy given PSU’s have advanced so much since this kind of unit was considered decent.
Today I want active PFC and at least something 80Plus even if it’s $10 more. There’s the Corsair Builder Series CX430 $25 –AR$20 w/FS. Some say these have been problematic and may well been so, I’d still would see reliance over the C-M being really any more advantageous. I like you get long fully-sleeved looms, a temp controlled fan, and single 12+ rail that outputs 60W more that the C-M 460W unit

Some newer Power Supplies only except pure sine waves instead of step sine waves that come from many UPS devices. If you use an UPS on your system a new Power Supply may not work (when UPS kicks in) even if it is more efficient.
Give me sine wave...
This one will work with a non-sine wave UPS, AFAIK any non-APFC will... These aren't bad for $20, but I concur with Casecutter that the Corsair builder model is a better value.
The primary faults on this one are the same as with many, it's prone to capacitor and fan failure after 2 or 3 years (of 24/7 use).
