Think I'd pass on this, lower overall quality and efficiency w/o active PFC than either of the following:
$35 AR/coupon OCZ ModXStream Modular 500W exp 02/06/12,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016
or the $17 AR/coupon Corsair Builder 430W deal which ends tomorrow.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026
Corsair Builder is a POS. Most everyone out there on all types of forums complain about a horrible whine when powered down. Fact.
^ Untrue, there are merely several complaints because it sold in very high numbers because it was such a great deal. Neither of the two systems I have running one make whining noise, nor do most of the (4/5 egg average) Newegg reviewers mention it.
However, even if it did make a whining noise that is an annoyance factor, not a "POS" factor. Overall it is higher quality than the Cooler Master at little more than half the AR price.
Regardless if you don't like it, there's still the OCZ 500W which is the best of the 3.
