2gb for $5 is nice, but two slots being filled for just 2gbs, what a waste!!

Wow, they're just giving it away now, cheapest I've ever seen it. This is good RAM, I'm using the 4GB kit in my machine right now. I paid $54 for 4GB not a month ago.

I've contacted Newegg in the past, about problems with rebates, and they've given me a credit back for the rebate amount. Probably why they continue to get my business! Smile

On a side note, they've raised the price to $55, so with the $5 coupon code and $40 MIR, it's not $10 after rebate.

If you've taken advantage of the $30 rebate on the 4GB (2x2GB) deals in the last week or so, you may be out of luck for this one. The wording on the rebate form (same one as before) limits your total rebates to $40. Of course, there's ways around that, if you've got more than one address.

#12, already been there, got that! Back when Office Depot used to hand out pretty good coupons, it was posted somewhere that they had ram sticks for $35 after a $65 mail in rebate (this was a while ago, in the ddr days!). Their problem is that some stores still had the pre-sale price of $65 on the shelf, and hadn't changed it to $100.
Since most places have laws stating that if a lower price is posted on the shelf, you'd walk in to OD, demand the lower price, and then get the mail in rebate from the register for the amount you just paid for the ram stick! Smile

What made it sweeter is that before you handed over your money, you'd hand the cashier a $20 off of $50 coupon, which would make the final price (after MIR and taxes on $65) ~$16 and change, BACK TO YOU!!! Yeah, they paid me to take that stick of ram off their hands!! Woot!! Wink

I haven't had any problems with Corsair rebates. I don't know how the issues that #7 posted effects things but so far I've received every one I've submitted.

Ram has to be run at 2.1-2.2 volts in order to get that latency, so make sure you got a compatible motherboard to overclock to that voltage.
