OMG I REALLY NEED ONE OF THESE! Er, actually no not really.
I seen this used. It does great and its pretty small.
Keeps i7 920 individual core temps <60deg C. under moderate load. Prime95 can push the individual cores closer to 70deg C. Idle is in mid 40's C.
This is from personal experience -- ambient temperature is ~76deg F.
It's a great, low-noise cooler good for compact installations or just for that "clean" look -- but if you have no other active cooling, expect your northbridge and voltage regulator temps to climb substantially vs. using the stock cooler.
I'm no longer using this cooler, though. Didn't like the super-high VREG temps and to combat internal ambient temps, additional fans were needed anyway so I switched to a TRUE 120 aluminum tower.
Good price, normally ~$80
Yeah the stock fan cools more than just the CPU. Still a good cooler if you add a very low noise fan to blow across the mobo.
