Past experience with Corsiar rebates has not been very good. More than once I had submitted all required paperwork, well ahead of deadlines, but never received the rebate. I hate mail-in rebates.

I hate MIR too, because sometime the money back is worth less than the time spent. However, my experience with Corsair is superb. I bought a 400W PSU in August 2009, got Visa card $20 MIR this week.

Looking at the reviews for this cooler make it not much more competitive than a Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme...still the better cooler. H50 also requires that you flip the rear exhaust fan into a intake fan...also not good.

True on the flip rear 120mm fan thing.. if you have a top exhaust fan or a pair of them it's not too big of a deal as the air doesn't pool but if you don't have top exhaust fans, yeah.. not good. I think the real gain here is this is a nice compact / quiet cooler and an air cooling equiv is generally fairly large in size and possibly noisy dep on fan used.. that may or may not matter to folks though.
