Isn't cheaper just to buy the Entertainment Book (http://www.entertainment.com) which has coupons in it for movies and more?

      "unrestricted Ultimate Movie Passes"

Are these restricted by the "new movie rule" most of these places have?

#2 - Nope, the unrestricted ones are good opening night, but might have a surcharge for a special event or a 3D or IMAX movie.

costco provides unrestricted amc and cinemark (century) tickets for just $15(2-pack)
that makes it about a $2-3 savings with having to buy just 2pcs instead of 8 or 12

These bulk deals are always available at Costco, if you have their membership.

#4 is right, Costco is a great place for cheap tickets. Especially if you don't go to the movies much.
