    This will support dd-wrt with a minor hack. All you have to do is open it up and mount a linksys wrt54gs router inside.

    I bought the older model CP 11g for a friend and it works fine, I wouldn't call this junk just a badly designed case (and maybe lack of heatsink on the network processor) that makes it overheat.

    Update firmware if possible, pop cover off and drill a lot of vent holes and you're likely to solve most problems, same as with many other branded routers. I keep suspecting these pretty much follow the same chipset reference design as the Trendwares, can anyone confirm or deny that?
