utter crap. The battery dies within 6 months and won't hold a charge.
^ It's a standard battery, nothing especially good or bad about it.
With SLA batteries, you don't want to run them down too low and have to top off the charge every 6 to 12 months.
what battery??? the removable gauge has a button battery but that's about it.
this is powered by a 12V socket. these work great btw, although you may want a separate gauge instead of messing with the removable one.
^ you may be right, I saw #1's comment and a review claiming it wouldn't keep a charge, otherwise I would've assumed no battery.
